Areas of focus

As the EY EMEIA Entity Compliance and Governance Leader, Jan helps clients stay in control of their corporate structure.

Jan joined the EY Transaction Tax practice in 2007 and was a legal advisor in Corporate Law focusing primarily on international reorganizations. He was instrumental in developing and implementing Legal Entity Rationalization (LER) programs for international clients and has more than a decade of experience in this field.

Jan also helped develop the EY corporate secretarial services solution in 2013, and has since been leading the ECG practice in GSA and co-leading efforts to drive the Legal Managed Services business.

He is a frequent speaker and author of publications on legal operations, legal managed services and legal technology topics.

Jan studied law at the Universities of Bayreuth and Hamburg and is a German-attorney-at-law as well as a certified tax advisor.
